You’ve heard the story of Atlas, condemned to hold up the sky for eternity? Metaphors ring true. Undeterred: we craved relief and found it only in time and light.
Gold was commissioned by Ottawa Dance Directive during lockdown in late 2020. The film responds to questions about loneliness and a feeling of being swallowed by the passage of time, becoming obsolete.
